Grandhagen Activity Park Hosts Inclusion Days for Children with Disabilities

In 2025, Norwegian Lutheran Mission Mongolia (NLM-M) organized special inclusion days at Grandhagen Activity Park (GAP) in Khovd and Bayan-Ulgii, bringing together children with disabilities and their families for a day of free, supervised play and recreation.

Since opening in 2021, GAP has provided safe, accessible playgrounds where children of all abilities can play together. The 2025 inclusion days built on this work, offering tailored activities and equipment so that children with disabilities could take part fully alongside their peers.

Families and local partner organizations joined staff for games, volleyball, and other group activities throughout the day. NLM-M plans to continue and expand these inclusion days as part of its ongoing Grandhagen Activity Park programming, together with local government and civil society partners.
