From September 8–11, 2026, Norwegian Lutheran Mission Mongolia (NLM-M) held an all-staff retreat at Tolbo Lake in Bayan-Ölgii Province, bringing together staff from the Khovd, Ulaanbaatar, and Bayan-Ölgii offices for a shared program of training, team meetings, sports, and a group photo in national dress.

The retreat opened with words from Country Director Jostein Namsvatn, followed by two training sessions — led by SCS project leader Bayarmaa B. and DNS school principal Maiken Hadberg — both centered on NLM-M’s core values and how they should be reflected in day-to-day practice.
